Committee |
The
alliance partners’ committee’s directive is to build community
support by outreaching to various community and religious groups as
well as to build partnerships with many churches of all
denominations. The
clear objective is to have unity with as many organizations as
possible which will ultimately ensure a strong attendance from all
communities. |

Committee |
Dependent
upon the venue the concessions committee would have to either work
with the concessionaire or contract with concession vendors.
Once the venue is secured then the specific role of the
committee would be established. However, in summary the committee
would ensure that ample food and non-alcohol beverages are available
for the amount of attendees. |

Committee |
The
entertainment committee core function is to ensure the all age
groups of attendees is well entertained. This committee will need to
determine what type of entertaining will be needed for the various
age groups and various interest levels. Additionally this committee
will need to find all of the entertainment needed to fulfill the
demographic of attendees. |

core objective of this committee is fundraising by sending out
personal letters to their donor base for both sponsor dollars and
in-kind contributions. The success of the committee is to ensure

Committee |
Logistics
committee is responsible in overseeing all logistical activities for
all events. Including the procurement and is responsible for the
bidding process for all event vendors. The committee will work
closely with vendors in ensure all logistical activities are on time
and within budget. |

This
committee is responsible for all communications for HFF. In addition
the committee is responsible for securing all paid and in-kind
placement as well as contracting for the creation of all marketing
materials which include print media, radio, TV, billboard, Press
Releases, media relations and interview schedules. |

The
committee is responsible in establishing the events schedules which
includes what the event start and end. Additionally the committee is
responsible for the show-flow, agenda and speakers bureau. The
committee is also responsible to coordinate closely with
entertainment committee. |

The
committee plays a vital part to the success of the entire effort.
This committee is mainly responsible for establishing MOU’s with
existing military outreach efforts as well as with military based
organizations such as the USO and military ministries.
The goal is to bring all support tools on board with Houston
Freedom Fest which include but not limited to, Speakers,
entertainers, military vehicles and equipment etc. |

| Volunteer
Committee |
The
committee’s core focus is to procure an ample amount of volunteers
for all areas within each event. Additionally the committee is
responsible in training all volunteers in each respected area. The
committee is also responsible in securing communications tools in
order to communicate within the committee and other committee heads. |

Committee |
The
Wellness committee’s directive is to build a strategic Wellness
provider bridge that will assist and educate in dealing with Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder affecting our Military men and women. In
addition the Wellness committee will work in concert through the
City of Houston’s Wellness initiative in order to further
establish support against PTSD. |
