The
Houston Texans would be very proud to support Houston
Freedom Fest to be held on
Veterans Day, November 11 to honor veterans, our present military
men and women, and their families. As a community, it is
important to show these unsung heroes how much we appreciate
the sacrifices that they have made and are making to ensure that the United States remain free and safe. To be
able to offer a FREE, fun, family oriented party after the Mayor and City of
Houston's Veterans Day Parade would be most worthwhile.
The
Houston Texans have participated in past events with the
sponsoring organizations, including Impact Houston and Military Ministries. We
have been impressed with these outstanding organizations that
truly exist to serve and to assist where needed. They have
correctly identified a need in Houston, to support those
veterans and military personnel who have given so much to
our country and who may now be struggling with personal
issues. It is imperative that we do our part to thank them
for their past service, to bring attention to their needs, and to offer services to them and their
families.
Military
Ministry and Impact Houston have a broad base of support in
the Houston community
and are able to collaborate with their various groups to
staff a large volunteer effort. The Houston Freedom Fest would be a worthy
event to offer to veterans, military personnel, their families and the
citizens of Houston. Please give them every consideration
and as much support as possible.
Best regards,

Robert
